I called my order in on the phone... old school. I purchased a new truck & decided to purchase a new detector. (I had another brand detector previously)  The gentleman who took the order was awesome. He answered my many questions, was super helpful, and gave me a tutorial on how I should custom tune my Uniden for my driving needs... in my State. He called me back the next day with updated shipping detail, and I received the unit the day after that!
  The detector (so far) works exceptionally well. It's a solid , reliable piece of electronics. Cetainly an upgrade from my last detector.

I could have picked amazon to buy my radar detector but I found this and think I'll keep it. They have all the providers, the experience, and programs in place for old detectors. My Uniden is awesome!! It has saved me a lot. Besides the false laser readings I'm getting I couldn't be happier. I understand why it's one of the leading detectors now
