The Protector – Anti Photo Radar License Plate Cover
Concerned about having your car/truck snapped by a photo radar van or fixed based speed camera?
Fixed
speed enforcement cameras and mobile photo enforcement vans have become
very popular by municipalities across the globe not because of traffic
safety issues but because they are a huge income generator.
So
today your photo can be snapped and a ticket on the way to your mailbox
because you travelled a few miles over the speed limit.
Now you can invest your money into one of those GPS enabled radar detectors
to provide protection against the fixed based cameras, but because the
mobile vans are contently on the prowl moving from place to place, they
are ineffective.
How does the Protector protect you against photo radar enforcement?
Photo
radar cameras are typically mounted to the side of the roadway at known
angles photographing both the front and rear of your vehicle.
By
utilizing a passive, light bending lens embedded into a clear cover the
Protector blocks the identifying portions of your license plate from
being photographed.
Benefits of the Protector
- Thin design enables you to mount your Protector inside most license plate frames
- 1 year warranty
- Protects you from receiving expensive speeding tickets in the mail!
Frequently Asked Questions About the Original Protector
Is the Original Protector visible with the naked eye?
When viewed straight on the Original Protector will look like any
other plastic plate cover that you would use to protect your license
plate and it’s substantially less noticeable then the
Toll Free Protector and the Super Protector.
However if you would prefer a more stealthy design consider the IR Invisi-Plate
Will the Original Protector also protect me against the Red Light Camera?
No, the Original Protector is only designed to protect you against side angle cameras.
If you would like to have the additional protection for these overhead cameras consider the Super Protector or the IR Invisi-Plate
Is the Original Protector legal?
A number of several states including Colorado and Washington D.C.
have laws prohibiting the use of any device that can defeat photo camera
enforcement.
Therefore we recommend that you check your state and municipal laws and comply with them accordingly.
