The unit function is EXACTLY as promised...it's not all that sophisticated a proposition, so it performs just peachy. The unit install is idiot proof, except...the info about using the radio fuse with the add-a-circuit may be dated. If you have a late model car with a digital radio with digital pre-sets, it has "constant on" and will be...ummm, well...constantly on if you use that source. Plus these "constant on" radios typically have a 20 amp fuse, and the add-a-circuit is only rated for 10 amps.
I used the rear window defroster, only on when the CAR IS RUNNING, not on with ACC. I do not need a RD if my car is not running.
