I ordered the TechGripper for my 2013 Z1000. I saw the videos on YouTube proclaiming the great design, premium materials and secureness of your Hand-Held device. Shipping was super quick and it was here in 2 days. As for the secureness of the phone, it's awesome, but the engineering point of failure is in the too soft plastic that mounts the phone holder to the ball-socket on the bike mount. It cross threaded on the third turn and continues to crossthread everytime I back it off and try again. The mount still seens to be secure, but my confidence level is much lower than I expected. Plastic is cheap, and with the billet design of the other components, it would not cost that much more to use a higher grade plastic, or just make it aluminum.
