Our Techmount motorcycle mounting system is crafted from aircraft grade billet aluminum.
Because of this it is the most durable and attractive mounting system in our industry.
Remove the base mounting bolt and lock washer from the BMW base using the supplied 6 mm hex key.
Then slide the mount from the top into your unused mirror-mounting hole in the handlebar control assembly and re-install the bolt and lock washer from below the controls and tighten.
The mount has a 17 mm ball enabling you to mount any of our Techmount accessory top plates and adapters such as our Techgripper and our radar detector top plate.
Your BMW radar detector mirror mounting kit will arrive at your door with everything you need including hex wrench, detector top plate, the mount, instructions and our lifetime replacement warranty.
Another recommended accessory is our Legal Speeding HARD system, which is a wireless LED system that will alert you when your radar detector goes off.
The transmitter simply plugs into the RJ11 plug on your Escort, Beltronics or Valentine One radar detector and the receiver Velcro’s to outside of your helmet.
